Spring break is here. I am taking the week off with my kids, but posting a couple of springtime pictures from my front yard.
The trees haven’t leafed out yet. This one probably won’t as I think that it is dying and I need to replace it. But there was a little bird in the top of it waiting for me to leave so it could go at my feeder.
I will probably be fighting with the barn swallows trying to build a nest on my front porch soon enough.
The other tree is blossoming and covered with butterflies, which don’t like to sit still for a photograph. After following them around with a 200mm lens, I was most happy with this photo. Easy to get a lot of bokeh when shooting close-up with a 200mm lens.

Hope you have a nice spring break!
Have a relaxing week Jason. 😎

Not too relaxing. Been in Orlando doing all of that with the kids.

That looks like a Bradford Pear. I have two that bloomed last week. They are very pretty.

I have two that were planted in 2002 and one is about dead and the other is close behind.
They are pretty when they bloom. My two never grew that well.
